The feral kitty is by far one of the most difficult classes to get good at, much less... master. If you are thinking about leveling a kitty to make him your new main, or are contemplating changing your spec to feral... know this, it is a very fun class if you like a challenge. If you're just into seeing high numbers without an effort, I would suggest another class.
First let's deal with your single target rotation.
Due to the recent 3.3 patch, your rotation is quite a bit easier.
Single Target Rotation:
Keep up at all times (in this order of priority): Savage Roar, Mangle, Rake, Rip
Filler: Shred, Ferocious Bite
Shred - This is used to gain CP. Also use it when you receive Clearcasting states from Omen of Clarity.
CDs : Berserk - use this at the beginning of a boss fight... or save it for a burn phase that will come shoetly after the pull. Use it on Cooldown as much as possible.
Tiger's Fury - Use this when at 30 or less energy. - Keep in mind that it increases your damage for a short period of time as well. (The damage increase buff cannot be up during Berserk.)
Always use rip at 5 CP, and only 5 cp. Use Savage Roar preferably at 5 CP, Priority is on getting 100% up-time on it though. Even if using it with only 1 CP is necessary.
Though Ferocius Bite is labeled as a filler, you should rarely use it. It is safe to use during Berserk, after your dots are applied, and on rare occasions when ALL of your dots/Savage Roar have a long remaining up-time. Keeping your dots and SR (Savage Roar) up have a huge priority over using Ferocious Bite. Until you are good as feral, I would suggest not using Ferocious Bite at all.
AoE rotation:
Mangle > Shred to 5 CP > Savage Roar > Swipe.
Do not refresh Savage Roar unless you're on an AoE pull that will last for more than 2 minute.
Keep in mind that swipe has a 180 degree swing radius.
Clipping DoTs:
Clipping your DoTs is when you refresh them too soon, not allowing them to get their final tick off. This is generally a bad thing to do, there are a couple exceptions though. Savage Roar (though not necessarily a "dot") is okay to clip. In fact, many times it is beneficial to clip Savage Roar to stagger its timing with Rip. You do not want to clip rake or rip, ever. If you're at a point where Savage Roar has a long remaining up-time, and rip and/or rake are about to drop off, Shred. Once they fall off, use the 5 CP you have generated. It is always better to shred, even after gaining 5 CP, than to clip a DoT.
Glyphs: Glyph of Shred, Glyph of Rip, and Glyph of Savage Roar.
-will be completed sometime soon.-
