Holy Priests? | The Naked Fear

Pete 28 Posts	Are they really that rare? I have yet to find a good write-up on them. Even searched through elitistjerks and the wow priest forums(which usually have great stickies for every spec). Maybe I never paid attention before I actually started playing a priest myself, but I can't recall any Holy priests in our guild. Are they out there? What's the deal?

Yeah I read that already. There's a whopping 6 points made about Holy, a total of 21 sentences.
The rest of the guide just talks about stuff like mana regen, addons, consumables, etc., general information about every healing class.
I guess I'm just used to reading pages and pages that are very specific of every spec that I play.
I'd like to just throw on a Holy spec and figure it out myself but everyone says Holy is garbage for tank healing and that's pretty much the majority of Heroics.

Back to my question: do we even have a holy priest in the guild that raids regularly?

Malfurionk 823 Posts	We currently have 2-3 holy priests in the guild. 1 is disc, but will go holy when needed. PS Holy priests can heal tanks. gogo 15k instant heal (POM) - when the target takes damage + renew + 8k 1 sec casts. My Motorola Droid has revolutionized the way I take a crap.

I used to play one. Holy isnt terribly complicated, coh every cd to proc instant flash heals. Keep renew up on tanks. Spam flash heal. Keep pom up. Prayer of healing if spike raid damage is inc, spam some renew for sustained raid damage. Fl x 3 -> Gh if for some reason you're forced to tank heal.

Lol i've never seen pom do more than half that malf.

Preach Board Member 964 Posts	Comparatively, disc healing is much easier. Simpler rotation, too. Bubble everyone - penance, flash, flash, penance. Rinse, repeat. I don't know what I'm talking about btw.

If you check my thread on shadow priests in the priests forums, shadow is alot different now compared to bc.
