After coming back from my hiatus, I respec'd to survival, got a wolf, and lately added a point to Hunting Party so I can "make" manna for the raid as I DPS. I am toying with changing the wolf over to a wasp. A wolf has furious howl that gives the hunter a large bump in ap but the wasp gives the whole raid a bonus by removing 5% off the armor of whatever boss it is fighting. I was just wondering if any hunter had tried a wasp over a wolf or what everyone elses feelings were.

Almost forgot, furious howl has a long cd so it is not active a fair amount of the fight, the wasp sting has a 16sec cd but lasts 20sec? So it should always be up.

I asked Avis about this when I was reading the post, and he says go with the wolf. If I'm in the raid (or any druid, which is.... 99% of the time) you will have that 5% armor debuff up anyways. And it doesn't stack.
My Motorola Droid has revolutionized the way I take a crap.
