heres two specs for reference

fasc has a lil more stam making him slightly more durable but my healthstones > his ^_^ i do die more than him tho >_<

for glyphs use Immolate Incinerate and Conflag till you get around 500 spirit then switch immolate to Lifetap if you want maximum dps.

with suppression you get hit capped at 14% if you have a dranei in the group you can be hitcapped at 13%

Spellpower is the most dps increasing stat you can get followed by haste then crit. Destro locks try to maintain haste around 400 and then get more crit.

Once you are hit capped, you should gem for SP. I usually try to get the socket bonus if its Spell power or haste. if the sockets are red i put in the Spellpower gem +23 or +19, if it is yellow i use the SP + haste if its blue i use SP + spirit.

you will want to put an eternal belt buckle on ur belt to make another socket then put a +SP gem in there like +19 or +23 depending on how much gold ya got.

jewel crafters can get some OP gems. Fasc has those in his pants.

The meta gem you wanna use is Chaotic SkyFlare.

Enchants will be Spellpower to almost everything
+15 spirit to chest is slightly better than +10 stats
Icewalker on boots

if you are a tailor get the lightweave on cloak if not you will have to use haste. Put +50 SP +20 spirit spellthread on pants.

You want to get kirin tor rep to revered so you can use their head enchant, 30 SP +20 crit.

Sons of hodir at exalted gives you a nice shoulder enchant, other wise youll have to use the WG one. unless you are inscript then you get OP shoulder enchant.

weapon enchants are +SP to staff or weapon, fasc and i have the expensive enchants on our weapons, there are cheaper versions though if you dont feel like dropping 1000 gold XD.

Destro rotations is Curse of Doom / Elements Immolate Conflag Chaosbolt Incinerate spam until conflag comes back off CD, once its like a second away from being able to be used, refresh immolate then cast conflag then incinerate until chaos is off CD. with glyph of lifetap you will have to start off with lifetap, nowadays the glyph lasts 40 seconds so lifetapping once you get around 10k mana will keep the glyph refreshed for the fight. i usually try to time lifetap 2 seconds before Conflag gets cooled down so i dont waste time.

Also there is a new addon im using to replace dot timer, called FortExorcist. its a CD and Spell timer, with alot of customization, and cool stuff. It can track what locks use soulstones (if they have the addon), can track healthstones, even has a summoning list that tells you who is not in the instace. And did i mention the spelltimer is GORGEOUS yea, its amazing, takes half the room dot timer does xD

There is a bug out there that lowers Destro lock dps by a lil bit, If you have your imp auto casting, he casts at 2.6 seconds instead of the 2 seconds as intended. To fix this you can macro your imp to cast whenever you cast a spell. This also has the benefit of the imp always attacking what you are (its nice for FC especially and helps kill kill targets faster)

Macro this to immolate incinerate conflagrate chaosbolt curse of elements curse of doom.
The macro is
#showtooltip Spellname
/cast Firebolt
/cast Spellname

example
#showtooltip Immolate
/cast Firebolt
/cast Immolate

also turn auto cast back on during aoe pulls or the imp wont do anything xD

Yup, Improved Imp, Empowered Imp and Demonic Power talents.

oh sry forgot about the lil imp but unmatched is completely right. Imp is not only the best dps for ya but whenever it crits you gain 100% crit chance on your next destro spell <3

oh my bad im so sry preach ill make sure from now on people who stand in dalaran during the whole setup time will be able to be summoned immediately... its not like ICC is less than 1-2 min flight away (on a reg 150% flyer)

K. We'll take an extra mage instead of you next time, b/c your one useful tool for the raid won't be needed. Not like you bring any buffs or anything.

Woot I like mages they at least bring food. I NEED MANA!!!!! What do locks bring, health stones like I need that. That is what we have healers for. J/K
