If this if purely for PvP spec then I see a few things that could be changed. I would take out Focused Attacks because that is more for long term gains. I may be wrong but I'm not sure if the benefit will shine through from that talent. You could also take one out of Deadly Brew.
You could add those to Imp Kidney for an increase of 9% damage through the duration of the stun. If you were doing 2k dps then it would be a 180 increase of damage to 2180. If the stun lasted 4 seconds that is another 720 damage.

I have no specific backing for thoughts on the matter. I am just playing the odds. I am thinking that the +2 energy proc wouldn't be enough to get enough energy during a battle for you to get any benefit out of it (in terms of an extra mutilate). You are already going to have a +30% energy regen bonus from Overkill for 20 seconds after breaking stealth. Odds are, after twenty seconds you have killed your target, restealthed, or are dead.

As for Deadly Brew, I am thinking that you are going to be lucky enough that even with a 50% chance to apply crippling poison; you are going to end up with a crippling poison on your target about 100% of the time. (Particularly if you open up with Cheap Shot).

Thanks for the response. The improved kidney shot may be a good idea. As far as deadly brew goes, are you saying to only go to 50% rather than 100%?

I played around with what you said and I believe I will be able to finish the deed faster with the spec you've provided for me. Thanks!

Awesome, I'm glad I haven't lost my touch when playing rogues. Yeah, I meant only put one talent point in deadly brew for a 50% chance. With the rate at which you hit the target. You have a very strong chance of having the poisons up 100% of the time past the initial proc.

I can understand the reasoning to go 2/2 in deadly brew, so you leave nothing to chance; though I don't see it worth the loss of 3% more damage on an absolute must rogue ability like Kidney shot.

btw, if you're going to level your rogue from any level under 70 I would suggest NOT going mutilate. When I was leveling my rogue combat was a much easier way of leveling then mut. I could take 1 mob at a time as mut, and 2-3 (if needed) as combat.

The half man, half ape speaks the truth. Combat is a better way to go if you are quest and mob grinding. Though if you are going the BG route, then simply ignore the poo slinging monkey in the corner and stay mutilate.
