Not to steal any thunder from all the great things we've been doing in guild, but we're at a point where we need to look at where we go from here and the guild's input is important.

Please respond with your honest opinion to the poll on the right and please note that cc10 and cc25 heroics are considered hardmodes which will require more practice and more wipes than the cc10 and cc25 encounters normally would.

Let me make sure I understand this:

1) Farm CC normals, don't worry about heroics.
2) Focus almost exclusively on heroics (25).
3) Focus almost exclusively on heroics (10).
4) Farm normals and work on heroics.

Why is the only reasonable progression option last on the list?

"Progress" is measured in terms of the end goal. Everyone's end goal may vary so inevitably, where we should progress towards may vary. This poll is designed to take a look at where our goal, as a guild should lie.

Hmm not sure i really like the answers. The first answer seems that we are only going to continue what is on farm which is "not an option." The second sounds like screw all farm content lets bang our heads on wall and just do 25 Heroic. Honestly this will never happen even if we did do this option the highly motivated will still do 10 heroic and 10 hard and just pug 25 normal this would include myself. So i kinda like this option. 3rd is focusing on just 10 hard mode. I feel we should be doing this anyhow its on farm why not. So to just focus on this one thing doesn't make sense. So the last thing trying to knock out cc10 and 25 and doing Uld. IMO Uld is old news its achievements and bragging rights for the most part. I feel this option should be basically what i feel were doing. Clear Uld 10 and 25 continue to hard modes and dedicate at least 1 night to 25 hard and 25 normal. So schedule would be basically two nights of raiding. 10s on Tues day so we have better gear for 25s on wed or thur. CC is only about a 2 hour instance once we all get the feel of it all. To sum all this up the options need to have a better option IMO clear 10s reg and hard and clear 25 normal and work on 25 hard. Let uld be something we do on the side kinda like 3d OS. /my 2 cents

Just wanna make this clear:

The term progression was not used in my poll nor in my news post asking folks to respond to the poll. I'm not asking what road the guild wants to progress down, I'm asking what the guild wants to focus on at this moment. If the focus is towards heroics that we need folks appropriately geared in order to progress, then we'll start talking about progression. This is just a poll - not an end all be all.

Hmm, well apparently I thought the last option was "kill CC normals and work on CC heroics" but instead, it is "kill CC normals and work on Uld25".

I need to change my vote then.

Truthfully, I have a question why this option isn't on the poll.

Farm CC10 and CC25 Normal. Work on CC10 and CC25 Heroic bosses.

That is my vote, and if it were on the poll, it would probably be a lot of other people's as well. Preach, is there any possibility of a "redo poll" since this is a natural and generally accepted realtime focus that is not represented on it?

The problem I see is that the poll states "what do you want to see the guild focus on". Not "where do you want to see the guild end up".
If I had to pick an option, I'd vote E, none of the above (or maybe all of the above). My choice is more accurately reflected in what Ghoul says, "Farm CC10 and CC25 normal, work on CC10 and CC25 Heroic".

I make assumptions sometimes that people think like I think. B and C were put in with the assumption that people knew we'd still farm cc10 and cc25. I see the err of my ways and i'll redo this poll.

Ahh, I understand now, and the new poll, although quite a bit longer and with more options, is much clearer.

well for me, id like to keep doing CC25 and CC10 and try doing CC25 heroic and continue CC10 heroic

but! it would be nice to keep doing ulduar even though the gear is not that great but doing hardmode and other stuff so we all can get the infamous Rusted Proto-Drake!!!!

nice poll preach! i really like the fact that you explained all the options involved in each decision. this will give us an idea of what the guild wants and will help us best serve a majority of the group.

wheres the option that says "work on -Alone in the Darkness(25 player) AChievement" =DD
