A leveling build that is not Shadow

Here is a different leveling build for priests. I did not switch to this until level 38 I think. I actually enjoyed it a lot. First off, I literally never ran out of mana (actually after every fight I pretty much had full mana) and that was still without using my free cast spell on whatever cool down it is on. This build will also make healing easier as you would imagine. Keep in mind you might not quite kill stuff as quick as shadow, but on the other hand it is different and will again make healing a easier. Seems to work very well for grinding due to the fact again that you really don't run out of mana.

Obviously after this you can do what you want but this is what I was going to do. The holy tree actually seems to have some nice damage increases that go along with improved healing.

Build to 70

Then I am sure you would respec at 70.

Thelsumazu 7 Posts	I have actually read about a lot of people leveling Disc lately!! A really cool build i seen and tried is a Disc/Mind Fley build. the Mind Fley helps fight Kite'ing! was fun! May you be 'awanting as long as you live, and live as long as you are a'!wanting!!

I've seen this disc/shadow build before. I actually have a friend who's now in endgame with it. It's probably one of the best or better pvpriest builds, but he says your limited in your necessity in raiding. It works well in 5 man heroics because you're pretty much a single target healer, but when you go into kara or farther, folks look for holy specc'ed or shadow specced priests.

Preach Board Member 964 Posts	Since the patch, I'm putting my vote in for a pure shadow build for leveling again. Its strong, dps heavy, and I have fewer mana issues now.
